NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly 60 years and currently maintains rollover 26,000 registered contractors.
Talkwire is an approved contractor of NICEIC and gained our certification in January 2013. This means we have been inspected and assessed to ensure that our competence and capabilities meet technical and safety standards and codes of practice. Electrical contractors that work for Talkwire have all registered with the organisation to become approved contractors, meeting the NICEIC's specification of training. Cyber Essentials is a UK government scheme encouraging organisations to adopt good practice in information security. The Cyber Essentials scheme provides five security controls that, according to the UK government, could prevent “around 80% of cyber attacks”. Properly implemented cyber security has the additional advantage of driving business efficiency throughout the organisation, saving money and improving productivity. Achieving certification will also help you to address other compliance requirements such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
