Unlike some data cabling installers, at Talkwire, we refuse to cut corners - especially when it comes to testing and certification.

Fiber optic cabling often constitutes the fundamental backbone of most structured cabling installations. That’s why we think it’s crucial that our customers have a proven assurance that they’re getting exactly what they paid for. Both for their own peace of mind and to satisfy all relevant warranty, performance and compliance regulations .

Advanced and standard testing protocols

We believe that all our tests should not only meet but exceed the levels of accuracy that are required by warranty terms. That’s why we only use the latest, top of the line equipment to perform our tests.

We employ two testing protocols for fiber optic cabling.

Tier 1 - Standard Test uses Fluke Certi Fibre Pro Loss Length Power Metre Modules and will detect the efficiency of data transmission in the cable.

Tier 2 - Advanced Test uses Fluke Opti Fibre Pro Quad OTDR Modules to go further and pinpoint the location of any faults along the entire length of the cable.
